At The Fisherman’s Wharf Langkawi, wind down and treat yourself to that relaxing massage you deserve or stroll along our courtyard, Artisan Alley, to find exotic resort wear, duty-free goods, and our curated collection of jewelry, handmade crafts, and souvenirs. To top it all off, enjoy the live music, warm atmosphere, and fresh-from-the-ocean seafood at one of our waterfront restaurants while overlooking our postcard-worthy marina.
Like all Fisherman’s Wharf the world over, the Fisherman’s Wharf Langkawi is the epicentre of entertaiment that visitors to the legendary islands would not miss out. The Fisherman’s Wharf at Royal Langkawi Yacht Club (RYLC) is an all-encompassing holidaying experience second to none.
Buskers gather to perform to entertain hotel guests and visitors who drop in for food, to enjoy sea sports and cruises and to dine in. The wharf is the choice location for wedding and events such as the recent celebrated Stayin’ Alive performance by Bee Gees impersonators.
It houses F&B outlets, the famous Charlie’s Bar & Grill, cruise and dive operators, boat charter, marine suppliers, travel planner, for yacht chandlery (accessories) and the 44-room Langkawi Yacht Club Hotel. The club operates the award-winning and largest marina in Malaysia.
RLYC General Manager Tayfun Koksal says the marina has 250 berths for yachts, including six for super yachts and a string of leading cruise operators enables visitors to immerse in their holiday in its totality.
“It is our holistic approach to ensure visitors enjoy themselves; either cruise in style or soaking in the sun and sea. “The Fisherman’s Wharf is also a favourite venue to host weddings. It is in fact an affordable venue for patrons to enjoy the facilities. Among the outlets we have at the sea-fronting venue are Charlie’s Bar and Grill, Jake’s Charbroil Steakhouse and Barbosa Pizza. “The wharf serves as a one-stop centre for visitors and yachties and in addition to that, an entertainment hub for live music performances”, he says.
